RECYCLED SILK | COTTON | MULBERRY SILK | MERINO WOOL
All our fabrics are made from natural materials such as pure silk, cotton and Merino wool. Natural fabrics only emit natural fibre into nature as opposed to artificial fabrics and recycled artificial fabrics emitting micro plastics into our seas and nature.
Another important factor is the use of mono-material. A fabric which only consists of a single material like silk, cotton or wool instead of a blend is easier to recycle.
The recycled silk is a 100% silk fabric spun from the regenerated leftovers of Mulberry silk. It is knitted as a rib, which gives a natural stretch and a flexible fit. Silk is a delicate fabric and needs to be treated as such. If cleaned gently and treated correctly it will last for a long time. This fabric has a soft touch and looks very rich and delicate with a slight shine to it. The styles add an elegant touch to your wardrobe.
The 100% cotton is knitted as a 1x1 rib fabric. It is a very light fabric and therefor also a delicate fabric, which needs gentle care. The soft touch and the dull surface of the cotton gives a casual look to the styles. Cotton is a natural fabric and is suitable for any season of the year.
The Mulberry silk is one of the finest silks available in the world. It is 100% natural, odorless and hypoallergenic. The fibers in Mulberry Silk are very long and the surface of the finished silk fabric is very smooth and soft. The sheer purity of the material creates a hypoallergenic fabric that contains the natural protein sercine, which has the ability to reduce allergic reactions and irritations. This makes it perfect for sensitive skin. If cleaned gently and treated correctly it will last for a long time. The Mulberry Silk styles are designed to underline an elegant and clean look for work and socializing.
The 100% Merino Wool fabric is made from Oeko-tex certified Merino Wool yarns from Australia and is knitted as a 1x1 rib fabric. The yarns are guaranteed mulesing free. Merino wool consists of very fine fibers (The Merino fiber scale is 14 - 22 microns). The fine fibers make Merino wool softer than conventional wool. The Merino fabric used in Seamless Basic garments is soft and light and it has that tempering effect that wool is so well known for. There are numerous ways to use these styles whether you prefer them as base layer garments, for your yoga classes or as a classic touch in your wardrobe.
The paper bags containing the cotton styles, the boxes containing the silk and Merino wool styles, the cards and the hangtags are all consciously made from FSC certified paper, which means paper from responsible sources. You can study the details of the FSC concept on WWW.FSC.ORG
It is our hope and wish that you will keep the boxes for storing your Seamless Basic garments or simply for storing all the tiny stuff that you just love to keep in your life.
