Where does Cotton come from:

Cotton is a soft, fluffy plant that has been grown and used for clothing for centuries. Cotton is a natural fiber that comes from the seed pod of the Cotton plant and thrives in warm, tropical climates. The history of Cotton is rich and complex, spanning centuries and continents. From its humble beginnings in ancient India to its current status as one of the world’s most widely used natural fibers, Cotton has played a crucial role in human history and commerce. It is used to make everything from clothing, bedding, and towels to medical devices and even banknotes.

What are the advantages of Cotton?

Cotton is a natural fiber that comes from the Cotton plant. One of the best things about Cotton is its comfort. Cotton clothing is breathable and soft, making it perfect for warm weather. It is also easy to care for and can be machine washed without fear of damage. Cotton is absorbent and durable, making it an ideal fabric for these everyday items.

How do you grow Cotton?

Cotton plants require warm weather and plenty of water to thrive. The plant's flowers bloom and turn into pods that contain the Cotton fibers. Once the Cotton is harvested, it is separated from the seeds and processed into the material we know.

What characterizes good Cotton quality?

High quality Cotton is softer and more durable than low quality Cotton. The longer the fibers, the smoother the surface, the more durable and good the quality. Organic Cotton is a good option to avoid harmful chemicals and support sustainable farming processes.

How do you maintain and wash our Cotton?

When caring for and washing your Seamless Basic Cotton products, it is important to follow our guidelines. Both of our Cotton qualities are made from very fine yarns with long fibers, which are important to care for to ensure they last.

• Wash your Cotton products at 30℃ on the extra gentle wool wash program. Hand washing is not recommended.

• Use liquid and gentle detergents. Do not use fabric softener or detergents with bleach or enzymes.

• Wash inside out and with similar colors. Use a soft laundry bag.

• Do not use bleach.

• Do not use a tumble dryer.

• Gently stretch the damp clothing back to its original shape.

• Lay your clothes out to dry indoors or outside in the shade, so that they lie flat.

• Iron or steam your clothes on low heat to regain length and fit.

• Do not use dry cleaning.

• Our products may become looser in fit with use. The original fit will be restored after gentle washing and ironing.

• The garment will fade and the fabric structures will be damaged if washed at high temperatures and/or on washing programs that are different from the procedure we recommend.

Good to know:

Washing clothes at a lower temperature and for a reduced time in modern washing machines is just as effective as using a normal Cotton wash program. The Cotton wash program is not as gentle as a wool wash program, so even if the temperature does not exceed 30℃, the speed and spin speed will be too high, and the clothes will gradually be damaged.
